Mexican food has many well-known an loved dishes. Maxican cuisine varies by region because of the difference in climate and geography.

In the North, food usually has meat like beef. In the Oaxaca region, their dishes are known for savoury tamales, tortillas, and celebratory moles. Tropical fruits are featured heavily in Yucatan and seafood dominating cuisin in the Pacific Coast and Baja California. In the mountainous region of the west, the best dishes have goat, feef, mutton, and pork in a spicy tomato sause.

The three main staples in Mexican dishes are corn, bean, and chillies. Corn is consumed in many different forms, but the most important one in tortilla. Tortillas are a thin and round pancake made from corn dough. Tortillas can be used to make other dishes such as tacos and quesadillas, which are popular in the entire country.

Tamales

Tamales are boiled pockets af corn dough with meat inside and then served in banana leaves.

Mole

Mole is a spicy sauce that sometimes has chocolate inside. It can be poured over meat to make it taste better.

Enchiladas

Enchiladas are corn or flour torillas filled with meat, cheese,beans, and other things.

Tacos

Tacos are tortillas folded into half with things like meat, cheese, lettuce, and other things, inside it.

Mexican Drinks

Drinks incude tepache, which is made from pineapples, tuba, which is fermented coconut juice, and pulque, which is fermented maguey plant.
